Tianyuan Petrochemical 100,000 tons/year propylene project completed

On March 15th, the key production equipment of Tianyuan Petrochemical's 100,000/year propylene project was completed, and the intermediate handover was realized, and it was transferred to the commissioning and trial production stage. The propylene production plant was designed by Shanghai Hetu Design Institute, supervised by Huaxia Petrochemical Engineering Supervision Company, and constructed by Sinopec No. 4 Construction Company. Construction started on May 20, 2017. After 22 months of construction, the project was successfully completed. . It is reported that the propylene plant has completed the steam purging and target shooting, and the instrument commissioning and unit trial operation are in full swing. The gas separation and light aromatics hydrogenation unit has completed the water transport. It is expected that all the installations will start normally in late May.

Tianyuan Petrochemical’s 100,000-ton/year propylene project has a total investment budget of 1.68 billion yuan. Construction started on September 28, 2016. 100% of the investment has been completed. The project (Phase I) will be trial production on August 22, 2018; (Phase II) has completed the construction and is expected to start normally at the end of May 2019; the project (Phase III) railway reconciliation and logistics facilities have started construction, with a total investment of 150 million yuan, and is expected to be completed in June 2019; Project (Phase IV) ) The fine chemical plant is under approval, which will extend to the downstream industry of fine chemicals for new materials and increase scientific and technological investment in research and development of high-tech materials. After all the plants are put into operation, they will achieve an annual output value of 10 billion yuan and contribute to the economy of Maoming.
